The Depths Demo

A pick up & play 2D action RPG for the Playdate handheld console, inspired by the original Diablo. Explore a dungeon to find loot, kill monsters. Explore deeper to fight tougher baddies and find sweeter items.

The demo version as it stands today has a single level full of enemies. What is currently missing is a character screen to view your stats. As well as the ability to gain xp & level up. Items will drop that you will not be able to equip yet.

Controls

• D-Pad to move
• A to attack
• B to pick up items (items will go out of bounds but you should still be able to pick them up)
• Inventory can be opened through the menu
• Use a full turn of the crank or the inventory menu to consume potions.
